How to Create a Project
See below for a full tutorial on how you can use the Flume Projects feature:
Key benefits of the Projects feature include:
Keep all of your important details in one place - including your documents, contact information, estimates, invoices, and payments due
Contacts are automatically added to a project when used to create an estimate, invoice, or payment affiliated with the project.
Easily download transactions related to your project to track your cash in and cash out.
Step-by-step guide for creating a new Project:
Click on “Projects” from the side nav on your Flume dashboard
Click “New Project”
Give your project a name, color, and (optional) description
Click “Create project”
Once your project is created, click on the project name to open it
Add contacts from your network that are associated with your project
Upload key documents under the “Documents” tab including contracts, proof of insurance, and lien waivers
You’ll be able to edit the document details immediately filling out the document name, assigning it to contact (if applicable), setting a document type, and selecting an optional expiration date
Remember to select your project for any existing or future estimates, invoices, transactions, and payments due for them to seamlessly be added to the project view
